Join The Bronx County Historical Society/Poe Cottage for a haunting and intimate evening inside the historic Edgar Allan Poe Cottage in the Bronx. On Friday, October 9th at 7:30 PM, experience Poe’s most iconic works—including The Tell-Tale Heart, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, and The Raven—performed as dramatic readings within the very walls of his final home.

Hosted by Natalie Osborne, Meghan Martin, Saturday Lawson, and Kevin Gonzalez, this hour-long program strips away traditional staging to focus on the power of Poe’s language and the unique atmosphere of the Cottage. This free event offers a rare opportunity to hear these classic tales of mystery and melancholy in the space where some of them were born.
